“Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost.”

Take a line from a song that you love or connect with. Now forget the song, and turn that line into the title or inspiration for your post.

Wow, that sounds deep. WordPress always seems to keep me on my toes. Okay, here goes nothing.

“Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost.”

I think we all should seize the day, in a matter of speaking of course. Because what if this amazing opportunity comes up and just taunts you with said opportunity by waving it in your face, you think that maybe you could do it; but then there’s that snotty obnoxious voice in the back of your head saying you wouldn’t know how to do it even if you tried.

That’s who seems to stop us. Yourself. Your own self doubt. Now there could be a million different reasons why you think that you can’t do it, but there is one reason you never should use.

“I never tried it, so I won’t do it.”

That my friends is a bunch of BS. Of course you haven’t did it before, does that mean it should stop you? NO.

Everything in the world is based of trying new things, and finding yourself, do you think that that one opportunity should stop you from thinking any differently? Oh, hell no.

And your probably thinking, I can’t do this because of my height, weight, looks, voice, learning process; trying to make every excuse under the sun. I’m telling you it doesn’t matter. Try. If you are so set on it, maybe it’s a dream of yours, just try. Maybe, just maybe you’ll love every minute of it. Maybe you’ll hate it and never go near it again, good, at least you know that now.

Because if you don’t try it when that opportunity presents itself, it will go away and you might never see it again. And when you get older, you’ll find yourself thinking about it over and over, wondering later on in life; why didn’t I take the chance when I had it?

Not to be morbid, but then you’ll die knowing you HAD the chance to do it, and you didn’t, then regret sets in like bitter vile on your tongue; and that’s it, it’s done. You will never know what you missed.

Nope, not even a little bit even. You can imagine what it was like, but never to the full extent of what could have been.

So I hope that you all live with no regrets, and try something new.

Confess your love, apologize, go and get a dog. I don’t know what you like to do, but go do something you want to try, you might just learn a life lesson, or in the least find out something you’ll know you’ll never try again.Image
